A Prince George woman is one of three people arrested in a joint operation involving the RCMP's Kamloops Integrated Road Safety Unit and officers from the detachment in Barriere.

RCMP Constable Mike Caira says the three adults were taken into custody after police located a vehicle stolen from Edmonton, Alberta.  Caira says a male suspect ran from police and tried to jump on a moving train, but fell and was apprehended.

He says officers at the scene recovered a number of Government of Canada GST/Child Tax refund cheques, along with counterfeit Indian Status Cards.

36-year-old Rhonda Candy-Ann Aubichon of Prince George has been charged with possession of stolen property.  She has been released from custody and ordered to re-appear at a later date.

A man and a woman, well-known to police and of no fixed address from Alberta, have been remanded into custody at the Kamloops Regional Correctional Centre.

Meantime, Caira says the Edmonton Police Service, St. Albert RCMP, Canada Post Corporate Security and Revenue Canada Enforcement Unit are assisting in the Government Cheque thefts.
