Fatal on Highway 97

Quesnel RCMP and North District Officers are attending the scene of a fatal accident on Highway 97 South, south of Hixon.

Police say about 9:30 this morning, a tanker truck carrying caustic soda collided with a car. One person in the car died at the scene. There was no spill of the tanker’s load.

Further details are not yet available.

The pre-election announcement stated that it will be completed in 10 successive phases, each phase lasting 5 years, apparently.
