Prince George RCMP are seeking suspects in a break and enter that occurred at the Simon Fraser Bridge Archeological site.

Thugs entered the site by climbing over the fence and then cut the lock to a storage trailer.

Amongst things stolen was an expensive Honda generator used to power equipment at the site.

If anyone has information, or has seen this generator they are asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222 -8477.

Wonder if the archeologists have found any stolen items? Maybe a bike or Walmart goodies?
Generator huh? Someone needs to run some lights to keep things on the sunny side without running up the hydro bill. I hope they can read the warning label and not operate it indoors without proper ventilation, they could get hurt if they do.
I doubt they are literate. They are lower forms of life, incapable of normal social intercourse and critical thinking.
I cannot abide thieves and pushers.
metalman.
Hey, this is prince george...it was only a matter of time.
They should probably run the generator indoors. Would help the cops to catch them .

Cheers
Probably looking for copper from the Stone Age maybe. Could've happened.
I think the generator has a plug so that you can plug it into a wall outlet when used indors so that no carbon monoxide is produced.

;-)

If this happened on Thursday night I drove by the site around 1030 pm and saw a small black car idling right across from the site with no lights on.
It does make lots of sense to have a small smelter by the riverfront.

There goes the theory of the timing of the invasion of North America accross an Aleutian Islands land-ice bridge by Eurasians.

Then again, maybe they brought some copper with them and forgot the plans of how to make it.
