Inferno Undefeated at BC Ringette Championship

 The Prince George Tween B Inferno is two victories away from being crowned provincial ringette champions. The 13-14 year –olds breezed through their round robin pool to advance to the semi-finals of the three-day championship in Burnaby and North Vancouver. Inferno scored 4-1 victories over Coquitlam and Shuswap on the opening day of the provincials. Today, the Prince George ringette team downed Surrey-White Rock 7-2 and humbled Penticton 11-2. Inferno will carry a 4-0 round robin record into the semi-final against the second place finisher of the other Tween B pool. A loss, Friday they play for the bronze medal, a win and Prince George is in the gold medal game at 3PM Friday in North Vancouver. The Prince George A Belles earned a silver medal at the BC Ringette championship to qualify for the Western Canadian Ringette championships later this month in Medicine Hat.
