Prince George FIre Department officials are  investigating a blaze that  broke out in a Quince Street  semi-detached home today.

Fire fighters arrived on scene  just before 4:00 this afternoon.  Flames were  coming from a side window on the home, threatening the house next next door.  Fire fighters  mounted  an aggressive  interior attack and  were able to  save the neighbouring house.

There  was no one  in the  home  at the time of the fire, and drug paraphernalia  was scattered throught the residence.  The blaze  was  limited to one bedroom and the  hallway, with smoke and heat damage throughout the  house.  A damage estimate is not yet available.

The cause of the fire is considered suspicious, investigators remain on the scene.

Better get hold of the landlord. Wherever he may be.
The landlord already knows what kind of tenants he has. And drugs as usual, suprise, suprise.
Sounds like a group home for diabetics.
Oh my! I didn't think of that Owl..haha!
They were framed.....
half the houses in the neighbourhood should be torn down to revitalize the neighbourhood and get in some reliable home owners and landlords.
Its the crew.....disposing of some competition.
isnt all of pg drug addicts when we lived on quince st 99% of the street were drug deallers im sure glad to have taken my kids away from that dunp of a town
Hey DBARRY and DPJ: you are both 100% correct. How bout a little urban revitalization: Some napalm, a D9 Kat and some new housing....like cool townhouses like they have in the lower mainland.....It would prevent scum from returning at least.
If only it were that easy.
metalman.
Ditto metalman!
dbarry,

no not all of the people in PG are drug addicts...neither myself, or my close friends do any...not even smoking a joint.
If you move to the bad area of any town you will find unsavoury folks.
I live west of town in Beaverly and love it here.
But if you find a city without a bad area, please let us all know...I await your write up on this miracle city...thanks
