Still No I.D. Released on Murder Victim

Prince George RCMP Serious Crime Unit is reveiwing the results of the autopsy conducted on the remains discovered Monday.

Police say further forensic examinations are underway to confirm the identity of the deceased. Once confirmed, the information will be made public as police continue to seek assistance in this investigation.

The body of a male was discovered 1.5 km off Hofferkamp Road ( east of Hoghway 97 north ) on Monday evening. Police are continuing to treat this investigation as a homicide.
