Environment Canada says March 2007 will go in the books as mild but wet, even though it started off  on a chilly note.

Jim Steele's monthly report is as follows:

TEMPERATURES

Mean Monthly Temperature 1.4 Normal -0.3

Mean Monthly Maximum 5.5 Normal 5.0

Mean Monthly Minimum -2.7 Normal -5.5

Warmest Day 12.3 degrees on the 29th

Coldest Day -15.1 degrees on the 2nd

Records..  no records set when it comes to temperature or precipitation although we did see more rain and snow than normal:

Total Monthly Precipitation 42.1 mm Normal 32.7 mm

Total Monthly snowfall 28.0 cm Normal 22.9 cm

Total Monthly Rainfall 17.0 mm Normal 13.1 mm

Days with Measurable Precipitation 15 days Normal 12 days

Greatest precipitation in one day 15.4 mm (rain and snowfall water equivalent) on the 16th

The coldest day of the month also happened to be on the first full day of spring.  Jim Steele says the milder air arrived towards the end of the month "With the warmest day occurring on the 29th. The proverbial lion showed up on the 31st with cooler air once again to finish off the month. The on again and off again milder air ended up winning the battle with the monthly average still coming in at just under 2 degrees above normal"

What is that in Fahrenheit?
Well now.... -15 is about 4 above and -2 is about 28 above...and how do I know this you ask???? Because I looked at my thermometer silly...lol I'm not converted either.
Has anyone been outside this morning?

WTF happened to this global warming people were screaming about???

Remember to idle your cars extra long to warm them up, and hopefully we can produce enough polution to raise the temps a bit.
We may have set a new record low for April 3....BRRRRRRRR
OMG!!!!This is April 3rd! 2 below 0 F... converted to celcius would be -20
Yikes!! I sure hope this isn't any indication of what summer has to bring. Best wear yer parka Mcfly!
Thanks for the reminder snappi, the heater in my Delorean sucks!
You are quite welcome.. :)
McFly I finally clued in today ....lol... Now about the weather...i'm just glad we got a tad bit of snow. Winter driving scares me half to death. So what we got was thumbs up to me. Would've been nice if we had colder weather during winter months to make bugs less of a problem for summer. Anyway I think I had a point but lost it as kids are watching Discovery Channel and keep saying..."Mommy look! Looooook Mommy eeeewwww Look Mommy!!!!!" lol have a good night all I have to go watch all this eeewwwwie stuff.
