The province today announced an increase in the grants that the Regional district of Fraser Fort George, McBride and Valemount will receive.

McBride receives $265,381 this year (2006: $209,959 and 2005: $160,000)
Valemount receives $277,701 this year (2006: $229,334 and 2005:
$184,385)

RDFFG receives $106,000 this year (2006: $85,000 and 2005: $2,500) McBride, Valemount and the Regional District of Fraser-Fort George have all received increased Small Community and Regional District grants from the provincial government.
