A bush party incident has sent a Prince George youth to hospital with a laceration to the head after he was run over by a pick up.

The incident occurred at about 2.30 this morning at the west end of Shamrock Rd on the Hart Highway.

About 100 young people had gathered at the site, and it is still not known how he sustained those non life threatening injuries.

Police say that alcohol was a factor in the matter and they continue to investigate.

How he sustained non life threatening injuries? Being young, drunk and probably stupid. Ah, youth. Wasn't it grand?
The beginning of the bush party season in Prince George. Nothing has changed in the past fourty years except the size of the tires on the trucks.

RUNNER 46...

AND THE STUFF CONSUMED AT THE PARTY.
Hey, sounds like another great party I missed.

Jeez, that makes two now. Maybe I could find a party where someone gets run down by a truck, a house gets knocked over by a backhoe, and the local fire department harvests someone's little grow show and passes it around.

Might have to schedule time off for that one.
