Time for Some Answers

I will pen off a letter today asking the Senior Conservation Officer Bob Coyle to kindly forward the following information to me. It has to do with the matter of Dr. Garnett Fraser who had his film footage, castings and tracings confiscated by Conservation Officers when he went to Kakwa Park to do further studies on the dinosaurs foot prints.
Fraser along with some friends, originally discovered the footprints and was heading back to do tracings fearing they may be destroyed by further erosion.
The word is, the seizure was done without proper authority. Okay, then who authorized the seizure?
Let’s see, a helicopter to and from the site, down time for the machine while it waited for the conservation officers to lay the hammer to the amateur paleontologist, then there’s the wages for two officers .How about a tab for around $5,000 dollars?
Then there is the matter of Parks Manager Don Cadden saying under section 4892 we can seize the stuff. He’s the senior guy, what has he got to say? Surely the two wardens didn’t have the authority to order up a chopper, so who did?
If I don’t get word back from them, well it’s off to the FOI (Freedom of Information) route with of course a letter to the Minister and a copy to my old chum Gordon Campbell asking for some information.
Lets see where this thing got its start, because who ever originated the idea should have their spurs taken away from them.
I’m Meisner ,and that is one man's opinion.

They usually just get a bit of media attention and then become ancient news.
As a taxpayer-I resent the waste of money spent by these government employees.
Common sense has to prevail-so they should be forced to explain their stupid actions.
A slap on the wrist is not good enough.
