UNBC to Talk About Medical Programs Trust

UNBC President Don Cozzetto will address the North Central Municipal Association  Convention  in Williams Lake today and make a major announcement about the Northern Medical  Programs Trust.

The Trust was established to help northern medical students with some of the costs associated  with  their education.  The goal was to have $6 million dollars in the Trust, and that would allow the program to cover up to $300 thousand dollars worth of expenses per year without having to touch the principle amount.

In late January, the Trust was hovering around the $4 million mark.

Dr. Cozzetto’s announcement is expected around 10:00 this morning.
