Mackenzie is getting $156 thousand dollars under the Olympic/Paralympic Live Sites projects  to cover the costs of two projects.

$91,380  will be used to buy a reconditioned  snow groomer to allow Mackenzie to track, build and shape its  trails and jumps for  users of all levels of ability.

The balance of $65 thousand dollars will  go to the Rocky Mountain Riders to build a new trail corridor  that can be used year round.  The corridor will  be available in the winter for snowmobiling and cross country skiing, and the rest of the year the corridor can be used  for hiking and mountain bike riding.

Where's the scandal ?

;-)
Excellent use of resources for a project everyone can enjoy IMO.
