I wonder how many people didn't see this coming? When the city was passing out the containers people thought they might as well get the big one, HeeHee! My neighbours can is lying on the road side with the wheels ripped off.

I burn, recycle and hide the rest. Anyone think the city isn't thinking about me? I might find myself facing a crack shack fee when the city comes snooping around.
Nickeled, dimed, quartered and dollared to death. The hand that I feel all the time in my pocket isn't one of my own two.

It's either Ottawa's, Victoria's or the City's.

Sorry City of PG, got to fight you on this one. When you dumb ba###rds brought in this new system it was because it was going to be MORE COST EFFECTIVE. Gawwd I hate it when people think I'm stupid. Like when government promised the GST wasn't gonna cost the consumer anything. We lay down for big government, I guess our little minded home town boys think we will do the same for them.
I think it should be the other way around - $4.00 for the large container and $12.00 for the small for all those thousands of people that have small or medium containers but fill it overflowing with garbage leaving a huge mess. The City should give credit for those few who actually got a garbage container to correctly hold their garbage!!

Wish I could opt out and take my garbage to the transfer station a bit cheaper. The Charter of Rights has "right of association". I dont wish to "associate" with overpriced trash recepticles. If only this was a perfect world. Alas!!
