All over Prince George, the price  at the pumps has slipped  again.  Now it is sitting at  122. 9 per litre,  it had  been 124.9

The Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives Gas Gouge Meter says that is still too high:

"31.0¢ per litre above the normalized cost of 92.0¢ per litre in Prince George

With today's crude oil price of $64.19 USD per barrel and the US dollar at $1.07 CAD, the price of regular unleaded gasoline in Prince George should be 92.0¢ per litre at normal profit margins.

At a price of $1.23 per litre, you are paying 31.0¢ per litre in pure excess profit. Across Canada, an extra margin of 31.0¢ per litre generates an additional profit of 31.0 million dollars per day."

Slipped again? It's been 124 for weeks now.

You are right, it HAD been 124.9....but it has dropped to 122.9!
It's been in the $1.16 range in the GVRD and Vancoucver for a couple of days now. Kelowana area has been in the $1.26 range since before the long weekend and is still sitting there.

PG prices seem to not follow the pattern of high prices nor of low prices this time around, if ever.

The lowest at this time appears to be Abbotsford at $1.06 at Costco this evening.
I'm in the vancouver area now and gas is 116.9 in some places.
