The Coroner’s Inquest into the death of 4 year old Amanda Jean Sinpson was delayed in getting started today because of an unscheduled meeting.
One of Amanda’s surviving siblings, 16 year old Ashley, went to the courthouse and met with the Coroner.
The meeting between Ashley and Coroner Beth Larcombe lasted for some time.
Amanda’s sister apparently wanted to know why there was an inquest under way, 8 full years after the tragic events.
The details surrounding that meeting have not been disclosed. A request for that information has been submitted to the Coroner.
