The Jury in the Coroners inquest , looking into the death of Amada Jean Simpson , is expected to start deliberations at 4.00p.m. This afternoon.

Earlier today, Robert Watts, Director of child protection, Ministry of Children and Family Development ,  described how 13 recommendations from a director’s review , following the Simpson death had been addressed and processes put in place to satisfy each recommendation.

 The actual full report will not be entered as evidence, as the Coroner said , Mr. Watt had answered all of the questions.

 Instead she opted to enter an intake review and disclosures report, which is considered a broad brush document, which shows the pattern of interaction between the Simpson Family , and the Ministry of Children and Families.

 The only other piece of evidence entered was the registration of Amanda’s death.

The Coroner will deliver her summary within the hour
