Prince George RCMP  say it was the general duty team on "B" Watch which  executed the  search warrant Sunday and  busted a grow op in Prince George .  Constable Chad Held was on the team which  searched the Lisgar  Crescent residence.

The  grow operation was in the basement, and while Constable Held wouldn’t say it was a "professional" set up he says the  people involved knew what they were doing.  Every room in the basement  was filled with marijuana plants.

Police seized about 300 plants, and two men were arrested.

Police say it isn’t certain if the  residence was a rental unit.

Not bad. Wait till he hits the 800 plus gro ops and is there all day dismantleing the thing!
Seems to be a "growth industry" in B.C. if you pardon the pun. All this fuss just says to me this is job security for the gendarmes. Big hairy deal !!!
oh, there's lots more work out there for the gendarmes besides busting gro ops.
WHEN ARE WE GOING TO STOP PUSSY FOOTIN' AROUND AND SIEZE THE HOUSES???? MAYBEE THE ABSENTEE LANDLORDS WOULD PAY ATTENTION.
After the grow op is busted the houses are not worth much...pretty much gutted out and destroyed...
But the land should be worth something...
so maybe worth a thought...
Harbinger and dgdiggler,

Hey, it's just pot right? That doesn't every hurt anybody, right? Wrong.

Like any drug, even alcohol, it causes physical, social, financial and mental problems for addicts. Weed can also be laced with other drugs, for more kick and faster addiction.

All that money goes into organized crime groups like the Hell's Angels and their local puppet-groups the Renagades and The Crew. Every time you smoke up you're supporting murderers, pimps, thugs and thieves.

Until pot is legalised, if it ever is, the police and courts should come down hard on these people.
And the games continue. If 20% are uncovered, 80% aren't. And what is the penalty? The majority of these folks arrested are re-arrested in a few months while they wait to get to court. Violate their conditions and so what? Ring around the rosey they go. Just a big game. What is really being accomplished? Nothing. Making headlines maybe. Chester
