Regional District Meeting Today

The Regional District of Fraser Fort George meets this afternoon and will get an update on the issue of selling well water for profit.  The matter first came to light when a company in Valemount wanted to set up a water bottling plant in that community.  Neighbours were concerned the plant would deplete the aquifer which is the source of water for many.

Also on the agenda, the approval of the Golden Raven branding marketing plan for cultural tourism.  The Board will also welcome Prince George – Peace River M.P, Jay Hill will be on hand to update Directors on recent Federal activities.
