Police Look to Link Wire to Theft

Prince George RCMP are still trying to find the owner of a pick up full of copper wire.

Police say they had stopped an individual back on the first of July. The truck he was driving ws loaded with copper wire, the circumstances surrounding the transportation of the wire were , as police say "questionable."

An investigation was launched.

Now they are trying to find the owner of the wire. They are asking businesses to take a closer look at inventory and check to see if anything is missing. If there are gaps on your inventory list, police want to hear from you.
