Fall Festival Plans Friday Family Free-be For Kids Under 12

 Prince George Minor Hockey is pleased to announce that all children 12 and under that attend Friday’s game at the International Fall festival will receive FREE admission.

Billed as “FAMILY NIGHT” it will allow youth in the City to attend the final preliminary round game as Team Canada Red, led by the likes of Caroline Ouellette, Sami Jo-Small and Jayna Hefford tangles with Team Sweden.

Friday night’s game gets underway at 7pm at the Prince George Coliseum and tickets will be available at the door.

“We’re pleased to be able to host this event,” says event chairman Dan Martin who added. “These are the best female hockey players in the world and we wanted to make it affordable so as many youth and families in the City as possible could watch them live.”

Tickets for the preliminary round and for the bronze medal game, which is scheduled for Saturday afternoon at 2pm, are just $5.00 each.

The gold medal game is scheduled for Saturday night at 7pm with all tickets $7.00. Fans are also reminded to take part in the Toonie Toss during the gold medal game with a chance to win an autographed Team Canada Jersey. All proceeds from the Toonie Toss will go towards breast cancer research. Volunteers with the local Cancer Society will be on hand to help out and provide information about their various initiatives.
