Ramsay's Parole Hearing No Longer A Public Affair

There will be no public parole hearing for former Provincial Court Judge David  Ramsay.

Having served three years of his 7 year sentence for  his involvement with  young prostitutes in Prince George, Ramsay has applied for day parole.

When word of his request for parole spread,  Carrier Sekani Family Services requested the hearing  be held in Prince George rather than New Brunswick  where  Ramsay is  incarcerated.   The request was not granted.

Some of Ramsay’s victims, and their families were making plans to  head to New Brunswick for the hearing, but those plans can now be cancelled, as the hearing will no longer  be a public affair, and Ramsay will no longer state his case.  Instead, his case will be reviewed next Tuesday  privately by the National Parole Board,  which will then issue its decision.

Ramsay was eligible for parole last year at this time, but waived his right to a parole hearing.  His statutory release date  is  January 30th of 2009 and  his sentence officially ends  at the end of May in 2011.

Lets protect the baddies he!
Ramsey should should rot in there after what he did. He doesn't deserve parole.
He destroyed allot of people with his actions including his own family. As far as I'm concerned he is a waste of air.
He hasn't even served half of his sentence yet. What amazes me is that he was eligible for parole last year at this time. That was only after 2 years. Actually, it makes me sick to my stomach. Now he is tying up more of the parole boards time and costing us more money and causing his victims more grief.

I think that the best he should be able to hope for is January 30th, 2009 and be thankful. Chester
I noticed a young native doing the walk on Queensway a couple days ago, which is actual quite common to see. What amazes me is Ramsay’s victims, and their families, haven't got the time of day for the next victim. What Ramsey did goes on everyday on Queensway, he's nothing special. Ramsey was just another turd in the downtown cesspool. How come the social agencies can't move their office and clients out of town so they can keep a better eye on what's going on right under their noses.
The downtown trash is getting worse every year and it attracts creeps like Ramsey. Ramsey was so close to the action it started to feel normal. So much stuff was going on and no one seemed to care.

I was talking to a store owner downtown today and he says he saw some native pups break a window on a store across the street, but this guy didn't dare say nothing, because the last time he spoke to the bandits his window was busted overnight.
This idea of feeding the squirrels and making homes for them has to stop. The population is increasing and they are becoming a real nuisance downtown.
Reply to Yama, So lets put up cameras like they do in Europe!
oops I forgot, people here would complain that it is invasion of privacy...but like they say, if your doing nothing wrong why worry.
Napalm ought to work!
I love the smell of Napalm in the morning..hehe. I agree down town is a scary place. I watched an RCMP walk right past a drunk that was laying on the sidewalk. Didn't even look down. Imagine that.
