Anytime I hear about a police raid on a residence with "the only door to the residence ...heavily barricaded" makes me more appreciative of the work the RCMP have to do to try to keep our neighbourhoods safer. What kind of person would be living in that kind of house, and what kind of horrors are they capable of?!? The RCMP are so easy to criticize when they allegedly use too much force, but if I put myself into their shoes I think I might be inclined to have my finger on the trigger when dealing with this type of situation. I'd want to make sure I got home safely to my family, and I'd err on the side of self preservation if this is the type of bad-dream kind of people I had to deal with on a regular basis.
Just the same players ( the Crew) playing musical (chairs) crack houses.
Sounds like a bad movie, "The Crew" "The Hood" to bad we couldn't just turn it off.
Best if the honest folks just watch out for each other.
A buddy of mine got messed up by the crew on Wednesday night. I hope the cops stomp the crew garbage inside when they knocked down their door.
We need to take back this neighbourhood one house at a time...I live down in the "hood" and am very watchful of activity...I am not afraid to question suspicious parked vehicles or even just watch the activity - its best if they know they are being watched - remember we are dealing with cowards in most cases and when confronted they move on - especially "Johns" that are parked right in front of my townhouse - and let me tell you it is not people that live around here - they are people driving Escalades and Expeditions that most likley live in more affluent parts of the city - it is not a "hood" problem it is one of society - we need to step out and say enough is enough.
