Prince George RCMP are  looking for a truck that was stolen this morning from a residence on McIntyre Crescent.

Police say the owner was warming up the vehicle when he was accosted by two males.  He was bear sprayed by one, the other male had a knife.  The victim jumped from the moving vehicle and may be suffering from a broken hip.   He has been taken to Prince George Regional Hospital.

Police are now looking for a 1994 White GMC extended cab truck,  BC licence plate # 4999LE.

Anyone seeing this vehicle is asked to call 9-1-1 immediately and  do not  try to stop the vehicle.

McIntyre Cres.......We dub it Crackintyre.
Scumbags. Why can't our 'justice system' deal with these filth?
I agree, giterdun, rough justice is definitely called for in the case of the drugscums.
metalman.
I agree on tough justice!
How the hell do we get through to the politicians and judges to get with the plan?
I can never understand why they are so reluctant to toughen up the penalties????
Andyfreeze. It costs big bucks to put people in jail and keep them there. If we convicted all offenders, and put them in jail then we would have to build at least 10 more max/min prisons in BC . The costs would be in the hundreds of millions.

Thats the only explanation that I can think of, otherwise they would be in jail.

We got into this situation over the years because of bleeding heart Liberals, and I dont see how it will ever change. Corporal punishment has gone out the window, and going to jail is a blast for most criminals.

In the old days you would get the lash with the **Cat and Nine Tails** or you would get the perforated paddle on the bare butt, and of course solitary confinement. Most criminals were not in a big hurry to return to prison because they knew what was waiting for them.

To-day it is a walk in the park.

I don't know what it's like in jail, but I would like to suggest that it's enough of a deterant that a person would not look forward to going back. Maybe we need to make some adjustments to things were it doesn't look so attractive an option. Chester
It's easier for RCMP to fine people for not wearing seatbelts, they can't make money off of real crooks.
Don't forget your dog in the back of the pickup, the child in a carseat, etc...

Hell, it's fines for the whole damn family !

However, this should make for a safer, more crime-free community, and people that dare to live in areas that are not crime-free, deserve what happens to them.
Kids not wearing bicycle helmets. They're the real criminals. The next step is becoming a Hells Angel. I can see it now.
OMG...I never thought of that.

OK, let's outlaw kids.
