It must have been fun to have been around when the US and Canadian Army was in Prince George. All sorts of fun that would have had all the sensitive souls yowling nowadays. Shooting their guns and building things without anyone's permission, like airports and hospitals and railway warehouses on first avenue. No Development Services to put a stop to everything.
Army = CN .... ssdd ...

;-)
Almost looks like a Co2 cartridge for a paintball gun.
Glad to see the professionals (armed forces explosives experts) taking this discovery of ORDNANCE so seriously.
It makes me think that there is still a few things being done right in this world.
metalman.

We used to find old bombs etc around the old Airport years ago. These were a little smaller than the one in the picture. I think that they were dropped during various excercises, when the Army was located in Prince George, however as far as I know they were not armed.

Some people used them for paper weights, however I beleive that this is no longer done. I was quite surprised that none of these **dud** bombs were dug up when they were digging up the dirt for the **Brick** and other areas, as that was where they used to be found.
