Public Consultation on Provincial Budget Comes to Prince George

Prince George will state it's case for the Provincial Budget plans today.
The Select Standing Committee on Finance and Goverment Services is in Prince George today with a public consulation session slated to start at 8 this morning and running until noon.
As of yesterday, 12 of the 13 blocks for public presentations had been booked.
The presentations will be heard at the Coast Inn of the North.
There are other ways to makea submission:
- Completing the on-line Budget 2008 Consultation Questionnaire
- Providing written submissions, or
- Returning the Budget Consultation Mailer
All submissions to the Committee must be received by the Office of the Clerk of Committees by Friday October 19, 2007. The Committee must present its report to the Legislative Assembly by November 15, 2007.
The Budget Consultation papers released Friday indicate the government is looking for your ideas for a "green" budget.
