Social Development Strategy.....what exactly is that??
Social facilitators. A.k.a. hookers? Could be.
Great title. What's the pay?
Social Development Strategy

9 components
• Public Safety
• Health & Wellness
• Recreation
• Culture
• Arts
• Heritage
• Literacy
• Education
• Housing

The policy development will assess:

• Where are we today
• Where do we want to go
• How do we get there

Completion is scheduled for late Spring 2008.

I thought those elements have all been responsibilities of a number of authorities. Perhaps they did not play well together?

;-)
Maybe she will be trying to coordnate the effrots of:

• Public Safety – City of PG through RCMP, Fire Services and Bylaw Services
• Health & Wellness – Northern Health
• Recreation – City of PG plus others
• Culture – City of PG plus others
• Arts – City of PG + others
• Heritage – City of PG + others
• Literacy – SD57 + CNC + others
• Education - SD57 + CNC + others
• Housing – BC Housing, BC Aboriginal Housing, Metis, welfare system, etc.
Ya, PG is just busting out at the seams so we really need another finger in the pie. How did we ever get along without a Social Coordinator?

Where's the Social Coordinator going to sit in the City Council chambers? We could send Tom Madden home and give her his chair?
I guess there aren't enough people at the trough at city hall. $75,000.00 per year. What a waste.
Pothole money down the drain
