Conservative MP Richard Harris says time will tell whether Belinda Stronach made the jump to the Liberals based on a personal decision or a bonafide political one. In his criticism of Stronach,Harris was not nearly as harsh as some of his fellow Members of the House . Stronach, who received a Cabinet post after dumping the Tories in favor of Paul Martin's Liberal Party , single handedly saved the Lliberals from certain defeat in her first vote as a Liberal today.

For Belinda's reality check I think the Conservatives should put a massive effort into her defeat in the next election.
IMO Belinda showed she has no character so her defeat should not be that hard.
The bigger question we should be asking is why does money buy so much power?
Is it because our media isn't doing its job, or the electoral system we have, or is it because of the centralized party power that engineers political reality?
Time Will Tell
