Women Go On Prince George Crime Spree

Two women are to appear before a Justice of the Peace today in connection with a crime spree that started Sunday morning.
The first incident involved the theft a van from the parking lot of St Michael’s Anglican Church on 5th. That came after a parishioner had reported that while they were in church a female had entered the lobby and cloakroom.
A short time later, a female matching the same description was involved in a theft at the store located at the Inn of the North. In this case a woman asked for change for a twenty and when the cashier produced two tens, they fled.
Shortly before 3 pm. , a homeowner on West Perry road , who was returning home noticed a green van in their driveway. At that moment a woman left the home with various items that had been stolen. The homeowner was able to grab back the items and the woman fled. As the vehicle attempted to flee the scene , it went into the ditch but was able to escape in spite of the efforts of the home owner to block their escape route.
At 4 pm. Police were called to the Mohawk Gas Bar on 1st. two females were seen leaving a green van with a green garbage bag. Both women were detained and a bag containing items stolen from the West Perry Road residence was found inside.
