Festival Gala Auction Record Breaker

Prince George, B.C. - The Spirit of the North Foundation's Festival of Trees Gala Auction last night was a record breaker.

Those in attendance donated $210 thousand dollars including $100 thousand for  new chemotherapy infusion pumps.

The Tim Hortons tree set an auction record, it sold for $25 thousand dollars.

Spirit of the North Foundation President Carol Beebe was overwhelmed by the  generosity  of all who attended “Prince George people have again proven that they are amazing in their support for each other and their community.  The giving spirit in the community continues to set us apart.  Thank you Prince George.”

The Festival of Trees display continues through the weekend.  It is open today till 9:00, Saturday 9-6  and Sunday 11- 4:30
