We should have an island in the artic where we dump these types to fend for themselves. Now we as tax payers have to fund this guy at $80,000 minimum a year for the next 25 years. Thats over $2 million dollars in todays dollars. I'd rather see that money go towards helicopters that shot at anyone trying to escape a frozen rock in the nomans land, and be comfortable in the fact that this guy likely wouldn't last his first winter.
In cases like this we need to bring back the death penalty.Oh thats right it isn't humane I forgot
Hope he said to himself, "Wow. This sure has been a lesson to me!"
The guy lived in a run down mobile home surrounded by pigs, prison is a step up.

I expect Crown will raise a Dangerous Offender application against him, now that he's been convicted and sentenced.
That will keep him in prison indefinitely.
Golly Gee...in a couple of weeks or so the movie should be coming out.
I'm sure Pickton knows he is safer in prison.
He has a better chance on staying alive in protected custody than he would if he got out on parole.
He likely would have a very short life span on the street.
