Mining Company Hosts PG Job Fair

        Prince George, B.C.-  A representative from Transwest Mining Systems is in Prince George this weekend, hosting an employment information session.

The mining equipment dealer is looking to hire qualified tradespeople for its operations in Edmonton, Fort McMurray, Port Coquitlam and Elkford.

Transwest is looking for applicants from the following trades:

• heavy duty mechanics
• motor winders
• electricians
• welders
• millwrights
• automotive technicians

The information session runs at 11am at the Coast Inn of the North today and then again tomorrow. 

Similar sessions are planned in Quesnel on Monday, Terrace on Tuesday, and Fort St. John on Wednesday.
