RCMP cruisers pulling into back entrance of parking lot at Moxies Restaurant

Prince George, B.C. -  There are unconfirmed reports of a shooting in our city this afternoon...

A caller to the Opinion250 newsroom says a person was apparently shot in the parking lot at Moxie’s Restaurant at 1804 Central Street East.

At least six RCMP cruisers are reported to be on-scene, three on the highway side and another three at the back entrance to the parking lot near 18th Avenue.  Two police dog teams are on-site -- on dog is near the restaurant’s front entrance, a second is in the parking lot.

Witnesses report seeing one ambulance leave the scene with its lights flashing, another ambulance remains in the parking lot.  Several patron vehicles also remain in the lot.

A sign posted on the front door of the restaurant says closed until further notice.  Police had been allowing traffic to drive along Central in front of the restaurant, it’s since been cordoned off.

Let me guess, gang/drug related.
Maybe some waitress there wouldn't surrender her little black dress.
Bout time people in PG realise that its no longer the small town in terms of crime.
Anyone thought to head to the airport to see who was on the next plane out of town? I am only guessing, but I expect hitmen from the lowermainland come to PG regularly to do business and head back home the same day.

Doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out who these types of visitors might be. Sit at the airport and monitor the passengers and then tie their visits to taking care of business in town. Wouldn't take long to figure things out. But, what would I know? I'm just a simple guy trying to figure things out using a little common sense. Chester
