RCMP barricade set up around Moxie’s restaurant after yesterday’s shooting

Prince George, B.C. -  RCMP have identified the 21-year-old Prince George man who was gunned down in broad daylight in the parking lot of Moxie’s restaurant yesterday.

A witness reported hearing five shots fired in what, police say, was a ’targeted’ shooting.  Guy Mitchell Henry was found lying in the parking lot at 1804 Central Street East.  He was transported by ambulance to Prince George Regional Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.

Constable Gary Godwin says the investigation into the fatal shooting is in full force, with officers running through witness statements.

Constable Godwin says the victim was known to police and was believed to be associated with organized crime, although which specific group isn’t known.

He says the RCMP has it’s ears to the ground and has a good idea of what’s going on, but proving it in a court of law is an entirely different matter.

Ya that's what we want a wild west shoot out between drug dealers.
SI overheard some people talking while having dinner. They say he was the one who lived on Lasalle, where there was a shooting a couple of weeks ago. Maybe this wouldnt of happened if the police would have locked him up the first time. Mind you, it probley would have prolonged his life a little longer. They said he was trying to switch gangs.

Its a sad thing when a person cant even feel safe going out for a nice family dinner at a trendy resteraunt.

Who cares about little Freddie Five-shot the dead drug dealer. The real issue here is that we have a potential serial killer on the loose.

Gunning down a scum bag in the parking lot like a scaredy coward with his new gun is probably the least benign of the possible scenario's, but I don't think this is the case. It wouldn’t be the first unsolved crime of this magnitude in this city the last few years... all connected to the drug trade. The Billy Moore hit was particularly vile in its nature, and who's to say we're not dealing with the same guy a few years later.

Something like this and I don't think it was the guys first time committing a major crime, and it obviously won’t be his last. Unfortunately Canada’s gun laws serve only to embolden that type, knowing full well nobody will be shooting back.
It seems the drug dealers are doing a better job of "policing" their kind than our RCMP do.
Ha! Billy no moore's hit was probably an in house cleanup by his own H.A.s
I think it is just great to know that the old gun control is working so well. How many billions of dollars was that?
