A Prince George woman, fortunately, suffered just minor injuries after she was struck by a car last night.

RCMP say the woman was hit while crossing Ospika Boulevard, at 1st Avenue, between 8:30pm and 8:45pm in the evening.

The woman suffered minor injuries to her head and knee.  She describes the vehicle as a mid-sized, grey car similar to a Buick Skylark.

Police say there were other motorists and pedestrians in the area who may have observed the hit-and-run, and they're asking anyone with information to come forward.

Only a scumbag wouldn't stop after hitting someone. Hope this one gets caught.
And jailed for a long time.
