Prince George, B.C. - The cow and calf moose that  were pruning a tree on Nehring Avenue  yesterday, have returned to the site.

"I looked out my window about 7 this morning, and there they were,  chowing down on that tree." says one neighbour.

Yesterday, there were concerns the cow and calf may get too close to Pinewood School so the  pair were  pushed back up Ginter's  hill.

"There is a lot of snow , so the moose are heading into the urban areas" says  Conservation officer Gary VanSpengen.  He advises  people leave the animals alone,  "usually they will find their own way out of the  area."

VanSpengen says the real concern is having  the cow get aggressive  if she feels her calf is threatened. "People should stay clear, otherwise there is a potential for an animal to  get agitated."

Yesterday VanSpengen and another conservation officer tranquilized and relocated a  young bull moose  who had wandered into the  Otter Avenue- Lacoma Avenue area east of Foothills Boulevard.   That  young bull was relocated to a cut block east of Prince George.

I wonder if this method would work with your local gang types.... tranq them and move them to a remote location...??

Maybe even put one of those radio tracking collars around their ankle to see where they wander.... make it real easy to tranq them the second time ...

Gosh... I can't think of what might happen if they stumbled back the third time...

Goodtimes... :-)

A very tasty tree indeed.
