"was weilding a screwdriver"? Common guys you work at fast food joint.. defend yourself and the business, throw a boiling vat of oil at the bastard! Then when he goes to the hospital with 3rd degree burns you got your man!
I think we should pre pay before we enter a business that would cut down on the robberies like pre pay for gas. The police were the main reason for the pre pay at the pumps, so maybee they will push this "New Law" then lots of idle time for them.
First of all, why would you want to put yourself in danger to defend a hundred bucks in the till? It's not worth puting yourself in harms way. A man on drugs will do anything to get the next fix.
Also, the police are busy dealing with the gangs in this city and the many shootings that are resulting from them. With City Council continuing to cut their budget, one less gas and dash frees them up to cover other areas. They went to the City looking to hire 25 more police and were turned down. Believe me, they're not sitting around idle!
"The Colonel's Law", now you must prepay a $20 deposit before going in the door to get a bucket of bird.
I'm enjoying the warmer weather too, but shorts and a toque!?

...ah, the way the kids are dressing these days is really something to be seen.
Good thing we have Grant's law or he would have been off with gas too.
The guy is probably not a druggie but a guy who is trying to save to heat his home next winter.

Not so, Grants law was the direct result of his parents hard work.
They caught the 21yr from the Shell robbery.
The screwdriver was probably just his car key.
