“Committee of the Whole” Very impressive. It will be great sport to hear the donkeys yaw. All they know is economy and they can't getit going.

Cheers
Improving the "well being" of myself and others in the City of Prince George would be to lower taxes and fix those dang potholes. It don't get any simpler than that.
Harbinger, didnt you recently tell us that you lived in Beaverly? If this is incorrect you have my apologies.

Cheers
That's a huge programme. Even affordable housing is an issue on its' own. People sleeping on the street is not acceptable in a humane society.
Then to balance arts, heritage and all the other undertakings is past my imagination.
I am not a multi-tasker so I would chew off one of the headings at a time and solve that.
It boggles the mind how they are going to handle it all. It will be worth watching how they tackle it all.
Not Beaverley but close. I have a few acquaintances that live in or near Beaverley and if there were a Skytrain to there, maybe they could stop driving so there would be more room on the road for me.
"..People sleeping on the street is not acceptable in a humane society.."

Sure it is. Either that or elimate the freedom of choice, or take away peoples right to make "bad" decisions? Who was your babysitter?

Sure people run into unexpected circumstances, and they should be assisted. But anyone that makes a choice to live on the street or makes no effort to do something about it and can't leave the street behind, should not be critized for their choice. Someone has to be a "street people" and there is nothing "wrong" with it.

If I supported correcting the street people, I'd have to expect someone to come bugging me about correcting my attitude as well. So here's the Trudeau salute to those perfect people.
Don't recall saying "correct the street people". In a society such as ours everyone deserves a safe warm bed and there are countless that are neither safe nor warm. Lots of kids in abusive homes, etc. It is not an easy problem to solve but we are our brother's keeper whether we acknowledge that or not.
Don't they have a "right" to be strret people? Everyone has rights, so we are told, over and over again. "Don't go messin' with my rights, sucka!" Know what I'm sayin'?
