Prince George - The police dog was used to flush out the culprit last night.  At 11pm Friday police called to the scene of a parked vehicle that had been struck by a Nissan Truck found the truck driver had fled the scene. The truck it was learned had been stolen earlier in the day at Earl’s Restaurant.

A police dog was called in and the dog tracked the suspect to the Southerland Apartments on Ingenika. A suspect was located in a girlfriend’s suite inside and taken into custody. A quantity of electronics was also found in the vehicle.

A few hours later on the Hart, a vehicle check resulted in two men heading for jail. The driver was arrested for impaired driving. A male and female passenger in the vehicle began to assault the officer and a struggle ensued. The driver is back in custody on an outstanding warrant. The other male is in custody for assaulting a police officer.

we all should be appalled with the court system and what the courts are NOT doing!
Just blame it on the courts, if they weren't handing out free beer, the guy would never have gotten into trouble.
