Poor road conditions are blamed for a crash on highway 16 near the Petro Canada Sunday evening. A mini Van and Toyota collided. Several occupants taken to hospital. None life threatening.

A cyclist traveling down the middle portion of the road on Diefenbaker St. sustained minor injuries when a car collided head on with the bike. The icy road prevented the car from moving over as the bike was traveling in the wrong lane of the road. No serious injuries.

Hmmm... riding a bike down the middle of the road, going the wrong way, in all this snow..duh...now that's taking being green concerns to a level bordering on stupidity!
But,maybe they had no other way to get to work?
Perhaps their gas slurping SUV was broken?
;-)
Hard to figure, why the dope was in the middle of the road, and/or why he did not move over when the car came along.
I have ridden a mtn. bike in winter in PG, out of necessity. One rule: the car has the right of way, cuz it is bigger than the bike.
metalman.
Another example of stupidity are the joggers that won't move over!
You are right seamutt!
Joggers are a big problem in the winter!
Almost got 2 the other day when they jogged around a pile of snow and right out in front of me!!!
And believe or not, one was pushing a baby buggy!! How stupid is that?
Don't you know they have the right of way. Stupid as they may be.
