Prince George, B.C. - Another archeological site has been located in Prince George, This one is in the area that is supposed to be developed for the Fraser River Bench Lands.

L&M Engineering’s Heather Oland says the developer, Fortwood Homes, has hired an archeologist to deal with discovered materials “There have been some findings found that can be worked around”

The site in the “Fraser River Bench Lands” is not as big as the one that was found on the west side of the Fraser River when crews starting doing some work in preparation for the twinning of the Simon Fraser Bridge.

The discovery at the bench lands won’t have any impact on the planned development says Oland, construction can continue  “There  is a process in place through the archeological branch of the  Province of British Columbia in Victoria, putting a permitting process in place.”

So what is it? A moose bone?
No, an old wine bottle.
And so it continues.......ad nauseum
metalman.
Oh. I thought it might be the Astoria ... lots of local history in that area.

So many fine sites like the Mac and Europe are ancient multi-cultural sites that will be of interest in years to come. The old party locations in the past only seem to be of value once we have successfully forgotten where they are.

ATLANTIS ??????????????????????
Bury them where they drop. Geez!
Very disparaging remarks.
Disparaging remarks?...probably,but no doubt spoken out of sheer frustration with a situation that just never seems to ever get any better!
It does seem to just go on and on....
Disparaging comes under the freedom of speech heading. But then again, one has to sorta generalize and not be too pointed to anyone or anything. It is called semantics, I think.
