An RCMP insider says the case against two officers from this city who were being investigated for their involvement with prostitutes is very weak and he expects to see the matter dropped in the future.
The investigation centers on allegations the two officers were involved with prostitutes while they were stationed in the city.
The alleged offences took place around the same time as former Judge David Ramsey was involved.
One of the problems with thew case is the credibility of the witness. She is the daughter of a highly placed motorcycle gang member. Her credibility is in doubt, and insiders sayt she is the only witness.
Official RCMP sources have not made any comment on the matter in recent months.
