Lac La Hache Gets New Fire Truck

Lac La Hache, B.C.-  The Cariboo Regional District’s (CRD) Lac La Hache Volunteer Fire Department (VFD) has taken possession of a new fire truck. 

The new tender meets all Canadian Motor Vehicle Safety Standards and necessary National Fire Protection Agency Standards.

The old tender will remain in operation; however the new truck was required in order to maintain the fire departments certification for insurance purposes. The addition of this truck to the department will provide for faster responses, improved on scene water capacity and improved mutual aid response capabilities for the Lac La Hache department.
