Quesnel To Undertake Free Spring Clean Up

Quesnel-   Quesnel residents get an opportunity to have large amounts of garden waste, unwanted appliances, car bodies, and other garbage removed from their property during the week of April 21st to 25th without charge.

It is the annual spring clean up in Quesnel which gives the residents an opportunity to get rid of all of their large waste free of charge. The procedure for pick up and schedules will be announced later.

Like that would EVER happen in Prince George. There would be a $10.00 service charge even if something like that were even considered.
Exactly, and that is why I will stumble across all those kinds of things when I hike in any of the local PG trails later this summer....
Prince George use to have this opportunity, I know they would set up large garbage containers at different locations and residents could deposit their refuse in them for free.

I can't remember when they stopped doing this, maybe they haven't stopped doing it just don't advise the city residents when it is happening.
