Prince George, B.C. - Some changes at Prince George City Hall.

Bob Radloff, who used to be the Director of Development Services, is now the General Manager of Development Services and Operations, and Grant Bain (the former Manager of long range planning) will move into the position of Director of Development Services.

Bill Gaal has a new title, as he becomes the Superintendent of Operations.

The City Clerk’s office now moves under the operations of the City Manager, and Wendy Nordine has been named the Deputy City Clerk.

The City Manager’s office will now be responsible for communications, policy, economic development liaison, and corporate projects co-ordination functions.

Christine Russell, who had been in charge of communications, is no longer with the City of Prince George.

It is not yet clear if any of the new titles carry any extra salary.

Time to shuffle a bunch out of there and get some new minds with new ideas.
Shuffle at the head of the helm would be the best- all admin. positions- what is new at City Hall!!
We don't want real change at City Hall as proven by election after election.

Here's my prediction for November: Same old, same old.
Sounds like Mr. R is getting ready to leave the comfy couch at the City (with an excellent pension) and focus on his real job as the head of a local consulting engineering company.

Couldn't possibly do both at the same time, could he?
CONGRATULATIONS TO YOUR NEW POSITIONS :)

It makes sense to have this under the umbrella of the City Manager's office. Hopefully, this will improve efficiency and communication within the City of Prince George as well as cost savings.

As for the negative previous posts, not sure what that is about.

Best regards!
Seems to me that when Chester Jefferie s was City Manager the City Clerks office reported to him. They must have changed it, and are now changing it back.

Who's minding the store at City Hall??? These boys are out of control.
Wow, we had a Manager of long term planning ! Doesn't seem to be much other evidence that he existed.
Moses, comfy couch for Mr. R? I wouldn't want his job, and I sure don't believe it involves a comfy couch. What color are your glasses? Chester
Adminstration is the arm that watches the public and manages city council. So who is the top man in charge of what is allowed in PG, Radloff or that new City Manager fellow? Not sure what the City Clerks Office did, but looks like it just got neutered.

It's there a Mrs Radloff in the top administration somewhere as well? I've seen her sit at city council as adminstration from something or other.

YamaDoo, must be a union conspiracy
