Cariboo Cougars Strike First

The Cariboo Cougars have taken the first step in slaying the Giants. The underdog Cats grabbed game one of their Major Midget League semi-final series with the North West Giants, winning 4-2 on Friday night. The game was tied at 1 after the first. The Cougars held a 3-1 advantage after 40 minutes and the teams traded goals in the third. The Cougars can complete the series sweep on Saturday night. A loss and they'll go to a third and deciding game on Sunday morning.
