Prince George,B.C. – When Prince George RCMP responded to a suspicious vehicle in Salmon Valley early this morning,  they got more than they had bargained for.

As police neared the scene a trucker, who had been monitoring the police radio, told them there was a truck parked near the Salmon Valley Bridge and he believed it was the truck they were looking for.

When police located the truck, they discovered it had been stolen and a female passenger in the truck was monitoring a radio.

Police began to track footprints in the snow away from the truck to a nearby residence. As they approached the home they heard screaming and observed a man fleeing the scene

A short time later the suspect was arrested in a bush after putting up a struggle. He had in his possession property stolen from the nearby home.

After arresting the 22 year old man, police discovered that at the time of his arrest he was serving 3 probation orders for similar crimes. He has 18 previous convictions, mostly for stolen vehicles and break and entry into homes.

In one of the more recent incidents, a passenger riding in his stolen vehicle died when the vehicle hit a light standard.

Police say they are thankful for the help by the passing trucker and the alert neighbor who witnessed the break and entry.

God, put this guy to work somewhere, like prison! He is, or will be, a menace to society. Sounds like a real loser to me.
metalman.
Here is perfect case of someone that should be sent to a deserted island and left for the birds to pick at. But we as society will give him a great lawyer and put him up in the Hilton for a short period so he can learn how to do it next time without getting caught. What a joke!!!
Perhaps his mommy didn't understand him so he is unable to tell right from wrong?
22 years old,18 previous convictions, and he is still on the street?
Put him away and keep him there!
This crap has to stop!
I honestly think this Liberal Government is trying to save money by keeping these losers out of jail!
I've said it before and I'll continue to say it now......IT PAYS TO BE A CRIMINAL!

Working class Joe's like you and I continue to get the shaft with gas prices, carbon taxes, property taxes, levy this, levy that, while JOEY CRIMINAL gets to run around, rob a store or two, steal the airporter ( or vehicle du jour ) and then relax in front of a judge who says...... DON'T DO IT AGAIN PLEASE.

Then, if they care to get some help for their "problems" we ( the taxpayers ) pay for it, while senior citzens who fought in the war are sitting at home with barely enough money to live. What the @#$%# is wrong with society? sooooo sad. I know here in Canada we have it better than many other countries but sometimes I seriously think about how great Canada really is and that's sad.
Politicans...we need to go after the useless ELECTED REPRESENTATIVES in Ottawa and Victoria!
If we can get it through their pompus, lying heads that this is going to cost them VOTES,maybe they will get off their overpaid asses and actually DO something?
Wait...silly me...what am I thinking...

Treat him like a bad dog, Put em down.
I just finished reading Hill's usual self-congratulatory comments and now this!

Shucks! What a letdown...
A lawsuit needs to be brought against the Federal and Provincial governments.
They are the people that have the responsibility to protect us and our property. They are not doing so.
They are however condoning the actions of criminals.
They have the power to put an end to this BS.
Imagine if our justice system dealt with criminals in the way we all know they should, that would mean less work for the lawyers, who by the way make up the better part of our politicians in Canada. Who by the way are the ones that make up our laws in Canada.
We wouldn't want to change any laws in Canada that would let the citizens sleep at night and also take money out of the pockets of our law makers/lawyers, would we?

Send this puke my way and I will deal with him the way he deserves.
Lets see some photos and addresses posted in the media of all these losers in society and let us deal with them, PLEASE.

Rant over.
As I recall we recently had a judge quoted on here as saying that they had been told not to put so many people in jail.
Seeing as how he was a judge,I seriously doubt he was making that up!
So there is the problem and as we may have suspected,it IS political.
I also think some judges have a tendency to reach out and hug the dirtbags a little too often, and they should have to explain that, but political pressure is likely the real issue here.
As citizens,we do have to accept some responsibility for that because we continually let our elected leaders get away with that crap.
They are paid to do a job, and dealing with the laws regarding criminals IS part of that job!
And in case nobody noticed, they ARE paid very well, considering what they actually do!
I also see on the noon news today that they just had the 6th.shooting in 2 weeks in metro Vancouver.
Nice.
Soon to come to a city near you!
I also notice the politicians have nothing to say about that.
Why?

there IS an echo in here!
Throw away the key!
Two rivers... breath taking,
One pair of cement boots ..priceless
Chopadafingers. One for each event. Wait a minute....he'd be out of fingers after ten so start on the toes for the other 8. Public squre beatings sound good to me.
You notice he had brought a witness to make sure nothing bad happened to him....
Repeat Offender. Three counts and you are out buddy. No more mister nice guy for this loser. Put the B-----d out of commission. What is wrong with our judicial system? God help us. Chester
Let's put him on a treadmill, generating electricity, if he likes to run so much.
Perhaps they should bring back capital punishment and clean out the prison system to make room for more??
They just need to stop handing out our tax dollars to all the lazy sponges that surround us and then they can build bigger prisons.
One two three strikes you are out.
