Maybe next year we can try for a 15% increase, what the hell, its only our money. Then when the system crashes (And crash it will) all the bone headed Politicians can run for cover and say it was our fault because we should have put a stop to uncontrolled spending.
Watching these local Politicians in action is embarrasing. I wonder if other Cities have such a motley crew as we do.
This is the results you get when you have a high level of voter apathy.
With all these increases, how are people on limited incomes supposed to cope? Maybe we should ask our MLA'S who get in excess of $100,000.00 per year, or our Mayor who gets $83,000.00 plus perks. Im sure that people on limited incomes, and welfare who cant afford car insurance, rent, groceries, medication etc; are uppermost on their minds.
One of the big things on Kinsleys mind while he is sash shaying around Bejing on a Tax Payer holiday will be ***How can I help people on limited incomes and welfare***
