Cariboo Cougars One Step Away from League Title.

The Cariboo Cougars set the tone for the opening game of the Major Midget final 10 seconds into the hockey game with the Okanagan Rockets. The Cougars scored 10 seconds in and lead 2-1 after the first. In the second they added two more and then the single in the third to win it 5-1. They lead the best of three league final one game to none and can claim their first ever BC Major Midget Championship on Saturday night. If they need a third and deciding game that would be played on Sunday morning. The winner takes on the Alberta champion, with the winner from their going to the Telus Cup.
