Prince George, B.C. - Alcohol is believed to have been a contributing factor in a crash this morning at the corner of Ongman Road and North Nechako Drive.

RCMP say a 2005 Chev pickup truck failed to negotiate the corner when attempting to make a right turn off North Nechako Drive onto Ongman Road.

When police arrived on the scene, the driver of the pickup had left the scene. A citizen advised police a commercial vehicle, (complete with company logo) came and picked up the driver and delivered him to a nearby business. The witness gave police a description of the vehicle and police were able to locate the suspected driver of the crashed pick up.

The 48 year was arrested and according to police, breath samples were three times the legal limit for alcohol.

Carbon credit? Cash? Or just an acknowledgement and maybe a break on his next traffic infraction? I would take either or all.
The driver must have some problems, to be drunk that early in the a.m. Hope he tries to get help. Or, it must have been a good party last night!

Oh Mom, not again!
