By 250 News
Prince George, B.C. - Barker Minerals Ltd. is planning an initial exploratory trench and drill program for 2008 on its Mag Gold/PGE Project.
The property is located approximately 20 kilometres southeast of the city of Quesnel. Barker Minerals says with logging activities conducted year round, access to the site is available throughout the year.
The Mag project is located in the prolific Quesnel Trough region in the same geological terrane as the Mount Polley and QR mines approximately 38 kms, and 23 kms respectively to the southeast, and the Gibraltar mine which is approximately 30 kms to the south.
Barker Minerals has submitted permit applications to conduct an initial exploration program on the Mag project which will include trenching and exploratory drilling to test an area identified in an airborne survey late last year.
